Korean War Memorial Float-Rose Parade
IOEI is proud to have participated in the final preparation of the Korean War Memorial float in the 2013 Tournament of Roses Parade. Designed by our friends with Whitney Stone Inc., the float displayed a replica of the National Korean War Memorial in Washington honoring the soldiers who fought in this often forgotten war. The Department of Defense sponsored the float as part of its commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the end of the Korean War. Hiroshi Miyamura is among the six Korean War veterans who rode on the float. He received the Medal of Honor for his actions as an Army corporal in Korea.
